Tipper Gore Visits
None of us had ever previously been associated with any kind of event regarding the actual White House and as a consequence all of us were pretty happy... It ended up being a dazzling warm full moon night as the luxury yacht slipped along the length of the San Francisco Skyline along with Tipper Gore and her friends. Immediately following a prolonged day on the campaign trail Mrs. Gore appeared to be relaxed and pleasant. She discovered the onboard personnel by name and was especially down to earth. The luxury cruise went by far too quickly. A fantastic time was had by everyone.
When Mrs. Gore turned up in her motorcade every thing was perfect. She was gracious and approached absolutely everyone and inquiredabout first names which she remembered at the end of the cruise. The full moon was climbing behind the Bay Bridge and the bay was oily smooth, reflecting the growing moon. After about an an hour every person started to relax and were able to leave the campaign behind for a little while. Having dinner and desserts completed, we headed back towards dock. We bid farewell to our very important guests and observed while her motorcade disappeared into the night.
